Directions
- Aim to begin set-up around 7:45am
- Locate the table and set it up
- Locate the supplies on the porch
- Fill the hot water dispenser and fill on the porch
- Bring everything to the coffee/tea area
- Setup and decorate how you wish
– make sure to put the ice bin/trough on the table for the creamers

- Bring the items home
- Brew the coffee at your home the morning of the event — takes ~1 minute per cup

Directions
- Source your tea and containers
- Brew the tea at your home and cool in time for the event
- Bring the dispenser(s) full of iced/cold tea to school
- Drop off at or near the coffee/tea table by about 8am
- Stick around to take your dispenser(s) home or be sure they are labeled with your name & phone number so they can be returned after

- Purchase creamers
- Bring the creamers to school the morning of the event, by about 8am
- At the event, find the ice bin/trough and place on the table if it’s not already there. Fill with ice and place the creamers on top/in the ice.
Supplies You Need
Treats! Savory or sweet, it’s up to you
Directions
- Make or purchase either sweet or savory treats/snacks
- Bring the treats/snacks to school the morning of the event, by about 8am
- At the event, place on the coffee/tea table.
Directions
At the end of the event:
- Dump leftover coffee and hot water at the base of nearby tree or plant
- Place leftover sweeteners/cups/stirrers/etc into the coffee/tea bin (black & yellow)
- If table cloth is clean, fold and put in bin
– if it needs washing, take it home to wash/dry or notify Laura or Kelsey that it needs washing - Bring leftover creamers into the office and have a front office staff member put them in the fridge for staff to enjoy
- Empty the water/ice from the ice bin
- If there is an iced tea dispenser and the tea maker is not taking it that day, empty the tea/ice at the base of a nearby tree or plant
- Bring the coffee/the bin, hot water dispenser, coffee percolators, and iced tea dispensers (if present) onto the porch
- Fold up the table and leave it in the coffee/tea table area
General Percolator Instructions
- Open the percolator and familiarize yourself with the parts
- Fill the main pot with water (filtered is preferred). Most large percolators will have markings on the side to help you measure
- Insert your coffee filter (optional)
- Add coffee grounds to the filter basket, approx 1T of grounds per 1c of water. Make sure that the grounds are evenly distributed and that you are using coarsely ground coffee
- Replace the lid to the percolator, plug it in, and if necessary turn it on
- Plan on 40-60 seconds of brewing time for each cup of brewed coffee.
